If you know me at all, you know I love dessert. I am ob-sessed. I would eat ice cream and baked goods over a real meal any day, anytime. Now that the holiday season is here, my love for sweets is multiplied 100 times over. So. Many. Goodies. Everywhere! I am so happy to be working with Graeter’s Ice Cream on today’s post because, well….see previous sentences 😉 Your girl LOVES ICE CREAM.
If you have never thought of gifting someone ice cream, think again. Graeter’s makes it so simple to order your favorite ice cream straight to your door! Or your friends door! Or grandma! There is this amazing multiple recipient option on the website where you can send different gifts to different people, all at once! Use the code maryssa-sweets for $5 off any orders shipped by December 13th. You can check out the website here, and learn all about Graeter’s French Pot Process here!
I decided to put my Graeter’s holiday package to good use, and I came up with a simple treat to share. I put together this hostess gift with my favorite peppermint ice cream, hot chocolate packets, marshmallows, and mini candy canes! Throw it all in a cannister, stick a bow on top and boom. Easiest gift ever. Giving away one as a gift, keeping five for myself. Not ashamed.
Graeter’s Peppermint Hot Chocolate Recipe
1 packet of hot chocolate mix
1 cup of milk
Graeter’s peppermint ice cream
chocolate syrup
peppermint stick
Heat your milk (I heated my milk on the stove, but let’s be honest…..I will be using my microwave for this recipe most of the time;) #easypeasy add your hot chocolate mix of choice, and add a few spoonfuls of peppermint ice cream! Once I added the Graeter’s ice cream, I used a milk frother to really take this hot chocolate to a whoooole new level. Once that’s done, top with chocolate syrup, a peppermint stick, all the marshmallows your heart desires and there you have it! The perfect festive treat.
What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? I am a chocolate girl all the way, but when the holiday season rolls around peppermint stick absolutely takes the number one spot in my heart. I hope you have the chance to order some Graeter’s ice cream for yourself, and HAPPY DECEMBER FIRST!
Thank you to Graeter’s for kindly sponsoring this post. All opinions are 100% honest & completely my own.
