Our fresh, tiny 6 lb 12 oz 20 inch newborn is now our 14 lb, 10 oz 25 inch six month old! I can’t believe we have already had six months with Lucy! Time is a cruel, cruel thief. She is learning so many new things right now, and this is definitely my favorite age yet! She loves to jump around in her bouncer, homegirl LOVES apples, and she boycotts sleep at all costs.
This month, Lucy learned that if she throws her pacifier out of her crib, then that means she doesn’t have to go to bed and it’s party time! No. Not how it works, that’s not how any of this works. We are extra sleep deprived right now, but we are extra EXTRA obsessed with watching Lucy grow. She can sit up on her own and she still does not really enjoy rolling over, but she will roll in the morning if she feels like it! Yes, strictly in the morning…this is just how she works 😉 We’ve been exclusively breast feeding since day one, and I am so happy that we made it to my first goal of 6 months! She loooooooves the boob, so I see no end in sight, and I am a-okay with that!
God blessed us with one amazing, adorable, and downright snuggly baby girl! I prayed and prayed for this life I have now, and I am so beyond grateful to have a (thoroughly sleepy), but otherwise healthy and happy family. My baby is going to be one this year, whoaaahahooo not ready to think about that! *cries and rocks in corner*
