I have had so much fun putting together Lucy’s nursery, I’m actually a little sad that I’m done! She doesn’t actually sleep in her room yet, but I hope once she does she loves it as much as I do. This room started out covered in old Packer’s wallpaper, and it. was. terrible. I knew that I wanted it to be neutral with little pops of color, but it turned out completely different than I originally planned…and I love it! Can I move in?;)
I found this big gold heart decal from Urban Walls and I just KNEW it had to go right above her crib. It’s the perfect accent piece in this little room! We put it up when I was 39 weeks pregnant, and though that wasn’t tons of fun (can’t get too close to the wall;), it was so easy to put up! After I had that everything else kind of just fell into place, and we love it.
One of my favorite things about this room is the shelf above her changing table. I have always loved I love Lucy, so when we decided on her name, I couldn’t wait to put my aluminum I Love Lucy photo in her room! Shane made me the hand-carved the L sitting on the shelf for Mother’s Day (obsessed), and the flamingo I found at Hobby Lobby added the perfect pop of color I was looking for. Decorating for a baby is the BEST.
We won’t live in this house forever, but this room will always be special for me. Decorating this room was the perfect distraction while waiting for her to get here. I’ve linked almost everything down below, but I’ve been collecting these things for almost a year, so I’ve managed to forget where a few things are from;) Thanks for following along for Lucy’s Nursery Tour!
